Well, well. Whaddaya know? I'm back from solving this unemployment crisis. I'm quite happy with myself and my surroundings now, which has made me less of the lovable bitch I used to be. Never fear though, there's still sarcasm and irony left in me. I want to thank Stace, Rumble and Sara who emailed me and said I needed to get my ass off the couch and make some new comics. I will do so. Updates are to be expected.

Uhm... hm, downloaded some pics and scribbled some scripts this week, so there might be a comics update too. Neat, huh?

It feels like I've coughed up both lungs these past two weeks. I'm much better now, though. Last week the preferred position was lying down n drinking fluids to beat the fever. At least I'm sitting up now and walking around and stuff. Had to, since we're having a group project in school this week. This weekend, however, I'll write those recaps I promised you guys. The 'How The L Ward Works' is coming together just fine and will (possibly) be uploaded as well.

Gotta go pay some bills now.

This last episode wasn't as good as ep 4. But overall, this season's lightyears better than the third. Hm, one thing that both bugs and amuses me: the Papi hype. All the new faces are good, except her. Lindsey the vet is much more interesting than her, for example. Jodi's still going strong, Phyllis lost a few points but she's fun as hell. *heheheh*

Ah. SO what about the fourth episode? I loved it. It wasn't perfect, but I can honestly say I loved it. Light, funny and fast paced - what more could anyone ask for? And Marlee Matlin! Ever since I heard the news of her joining the cast I just knew this season would top the previous one. She's great! Jodi and Phyllis are quickly becoming two of my favorite characters on the show.

I'm not exactly loving this new season, but it's better than the previous one so far. I've finally figured out what bothers me with The L Word; you can't watch the episodes a second time. They lose some of their value as episodes when you've watched them once.

I'm off to play some Twilight Princess, or maybe KOTOR (I love Star Wars). I've got a helluva cold and it's snowing outside so I'm just gonna relax.

Ok. I watched the latest ep of Greys Anatomy while having breakfast. And I bawled like hell. Thought the damn tears would never stop... I def. do not feel like sitting down and writing a snappy recap right now. I'm just gonna have to do it later.

The damn essay's done! I mailed it to both teachers five minutes ago... whoa. I feel free, so relieved! Hell week is over!!! I'm gonna kick back and relax, get some sleep and do the recap for episode 2 first thing tomorrow. It should be up by noon!

Yeah well, got through first day of school. I'm kinda bummed we never get to visit campus anymore, most of our lectures are held at the National Archive... when we had classes on campus there was plenty of time to hang out with others and talk. Usually you'd find someone you know and chat for a while. But not now. We don't get breaks, we get 'leg stretching time' a couple of minutes every hour. Ain't that lovely, eh? At least I got some sketching done during our marathon lecture!

Got my first hate mail related to the new update! Yay! -I was beginning to wonder if there was something wrong, 'cause of all the nice words I've been getting lately. Well: order re-established! Hm. Or something like that.

Time to eat, and to write an outline for the next bundle of L Ward comics!

Christmas break's over and today it's time to return to school, and the exhilarating world of records management. *uuuuugh* I'd rather spend my week going out with my friends and working with graphics.

And then there's the dentist and the appointment with my doctor. Glorious, glorious.

*sigh* Ain't RL grand?...

I didn't hate Max this episode, a fact I'm sincerely happy for. It was great seeing Marina again... sorta. She could've dropped the hat, but it made for good visuals so it was ok keeping it... GOOD director this episode. I like!

Best thing in the episode: Joyce's speech to Bette and Tina about the media circus that would follow with a court case like theirs. She f*cking NAILED that! The therapists failed with Bette and Tina, the retreat failed... it's amazing what legal greed and blunt words can do, isn't it?

Worst thing in the episode: The opening titles. Alice. Alone. On. The. Bike. DAAAANAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! I MISS YOUUUUU!!! *sniff*

Shocking conclusion: I can't believe how much I've missed Marina! I mean, she became really pathetic at the end of the 1st season, but here she is and I'm kinda glad about it. I remember the excitement surrounding that very season and all the show could have been...

Good season premiere! Some things were better, some worse, but the overall impression was good.

I've been working non-stop for 19 hours, so I reckon it's time to sleep. How do I feel? I feel relieved.

Background: All these three comics were simple one-liners in the beginning. For some reason the first and last one felt ridiculously funny to write and work with. Bash TPTB is always satisfactory. The 'He Said, He Said' is based on a friend of mine, who always goes ooooon and ooooooon about her boyfriend... (usually in front of her ex-girlfriend).

Background to these comics: Hm. I've always enjoyed the 'Writing Season 2' comics and decided to trash s3 while I was at it.

It's past midnight here in Sweden and there are 7 new comics. Two more and I have a three page update! Yay! And so it shall be... gimme another hour or two and it's done. Dman, I'm tired!
